Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME)
The mission of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME) is to provide answers to the pressing challenges of the 21st century with design-based learning, research, and applied mastery. The university’s mission is to serve their communities, spreading design consciousness and contributing to the sophistication of the local and regional economic and cultural ecosystems.
Activities
As a higher education institution, MOME offers undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in 18 fields of design and applied arts.
MOME also offers design services: Institutional development services using design tools; research and development collaborations with the business sector, joint projects with universities and partner institutions; joint organisation of educational services with partners
MOME's Innovation Center carries out social impact, design-centred, interdisciplinary R&D projects, building its research around five main areas. These are material innovation, data storytelling, interaction and interaction, social design and sustainable industry.
The MOME Technology Park (TechPark) - with 25 workshops and studios - provides hands-on training with specialised tools, spaces and professionals, a place where students can experiment, experience and be supported by professional mentors in the implementation of their ideas
The workshops, indoor and outdoor spaces of the campus are suitable for events for 10-400 people, conferences (plenary and section meetings), exhibitions, presentations, receptions, film screenings and professional workshops
