PMAG Cluster has signed a memorandum of cooperation and partnership with “Omnipack First Hungarian Packaging Technology Cluster”. The memorandum aims to join forces to create conditions for the development of cooperation between industry associations/clusters and their members in the field of packaging in Hungary and Georgia.

PMAG representatives have been introduced to the representatives of “Omnipack First Hungarian Packaging Technology Cluster” back in December 2019 during PMAG’s study trip in Hungary. Since then, both sides have been actively exchanging information and now the memorandum has been signed.

Main directions of cooperation of the parties are built around the following areas: Establishing raw materials and purchasing groups; Developing packaging technologies; Engineering and production technologies; Conducting cross-cluster projects.

The memorandum also acknowledges the possibility of post-pandemic cooperation in terms of realisation of opportunities and providing solutions as well as an exchange of knowledge, skills and expertise and cooperation in terms of new product developments and innovation and facilitation of investment flows between countries and companies.
